We’re in a turbulent time and will be there for a few years as the outer planets line up to bring us to a new world order. Getting there will be chaotic and disruptive – there’s not getting around that. So, what can you do to weather this storm? September has some great energetic lessons for us to learn, and practice.
September 2025 Human Design Energy Report
The big backdrop for 2025 (through 2028 by the way) is that the three outer planets – Uranus, Neptune and Pluto – are harmoniously aligned in what is the most consequential alignment in our lifetime. We are in a time of upheaval, change, revolution. This Magic Triangle arrangement gives us reason to be optimistic about the future while our systems and structures continue to dissolve. We can expect radical change. It’s going to continue to be rocky, emotional, and there will be times you might give way to pessimism. But, this alignment tells us that we are moving towards a more humanitarian time.
What is important is to do your inner work which is the purpose of these reports so you can use Human design to help you withstand the stresses and chaos swirling around you.
The Nodal Journey
The Nodal Journey from July continues through the month right through October. The South Node in Gate 47 and North Node in Gate 22 is all about seeking to understand life through one’s personal experiences. It’s the struggle to make sense out of your past experiences, perhaps using this reflection to make sense of how you will move through this time.
Continue to reflect on your personal experiences – what did you learn from them? Are you repeating patterns that are unsatisfactory?
Be gentle with yourself as you do this work. Consider this inner process a gift that will bring you closer to your overall well-being.
Saturn
Saturn spends most of September in Gate 25 which is the gate of universal love and the spirit of the self. We’ve had a few months to learn lessons to get us to our true beliefs and get centered to be our higher self. It returns to its dance with Gate 36 on the 25th, the challenge of growth, crisis and turbulence. For some it may feel like emotional chaos and overwhelming uncertainty as you navigate challenging experiences. These may be personal or it could be that you are feeling effects from the global chaos and challenge facing us all. Know that the energy of Gate 36 is all about learning through change, learning how to handle emotional upheaval and finding clarity. Saturn will remain in Gate 36 for the rest of this year.
Jupiter
Jupiter begins September in Gate 53, the Gate of Beginnings and changes to 62 on the 18th. We’re in a new growth cycle led by the upheaval Saturn is bringing to us once again. Jupiter is here to let us know not to fear these challenges but to focus on what new beginning this can mean for you. There is no real lasting growth without upheavals and disruption and we are moving to a new world order.
Sun and Earth Transits
September 1: Sun in Gate 40| Earth in Gate 37
The Sun and Earth form the Channel of Community and it’s an energy of trying to discern where you fit in and then live that out. Gate 40 is a Gate of Aloneness and it’s a time to set boundaries for yourself and to let others know. Know how much you are willing to give without losing yourself. Gate 37 is the Gate of Friendship. It’s a higher level energy is of community and peace, interconnection so we all can exist freely together.
September 4: Sun in Gate 64 | Earth in Gate 63.
Both of these gates are in the head center so you may feel pressure to know, maybe to try and understand what is going on around you. Gate 64, the Gate of Confusion – Before Completion thrives on contemplation and reflection while Gate 63, the Gate of Doubt – After Completion drives a logical process to find clarity and certainty. Understand that clarity needs time and it may not be a logical process.
September 9 Sun in Gate 47 | Earth in Gate 22
Gate 47 brings us the energy of transforming confusion into clarity. It thrives on untangling confusion but may be challenged by wanting immediate answers and without them, a feeling of being overwhelmed. The Earth in Gate 22 tells us to live in the present, the Now. What is just is. It’s necessary to go through it in order to facilitate a change toward the better. Living in the past with nostalgia will keep you stuck. Worrying about the future leads to fear and being stuck. Practice living for today, focusing on your blessings and give gratitude. This small daily practice can help shift your energy.
September 15: Sun in Gate 6| Earth in Gate 36
This period may feel like a challenging one with the Sun in Gate 6 Friction and the Earth in 36 Disruption right there with Saturn. I think the message here is that we are being pushed to recognize we are in a place of change, challenge and chaos. In this period, look inward and find where you are personally going through this same process. Your personal growth may indeed bring about friction in your life – is the growth what you want in spite of the discomfort it is bringing to you now?
September 21: Sun in Gate 46 | Earth in Gate 25.
There is a shift in energy after the challenge of the last six days. Gate 46 wants you to allow that each experience is perfection, even when unpleasant, that you need to live through them, not seek to escape them. Here, pay attention to your physical being, doing what you need to for your well-being. The Earth in Gate 25 is an energy of universal love. Remember, Saturn was there the past few months helping you to learn the lessons of compassion, acceptance, purity of heart and spiritual energy for others. We all want the same thing – to be accepted.
September 28: Sun in Gate 18 | Earth in Gate 17
We end the month with an energy of knowing what can be fixed and wanting to push it forward with Gate 18 Correction and Gate 17 Opinion. Here’s the thing though – while you may feel that urge to offer your opinion on how things can be fixed, your viewpoint may not be welcomed. It has to be invited in to make a difference. Focus on you – what needs to be fixed and don’t be afraid of it.
The Big Picture: The lessons this month appear to be reminding us that we are in the midst of a chaotic world order, a shake up to the comfort we may have felt for a long time that is now being shaken to its very foundation. But, we also are reminded that it is necessary to contemplate, reflect and examine your own personal growth, your evolution, and learn to live in the present. Nostalgic pining will keep you stuck. Worrying about the future will keep you in fear. This is a month to learn how to live in the Now, become grounded in your physical experience in this life, and trust that it is necessary to have the storm in order to get to the sun.
