What does your birthdate say about you?
Who knew that cards in the Major Arcana of tarot could also give you some insight into you based on your birthdate?
I recently discovered a very cool way to use tarot cards by working with one’s birthdate. Using some math, I can identify one to two cards of the Major Arcana that are representative of you with messages for your life. Let me show you just how cool this is by sharing mine with you.
My two cards are The Empress and Awakening.
The Empress is a nurturer and loves to give birth to new ideas. She is someone who allows little luxuries in her life, gets a lot done, is a mother figure and enjoys time in nature. She also may build her own business. Plans are in place and she is willing to tweak as needed especially for her creative endeavors.
Awakening shows someone is not afraid to look at life differently, from differing perspectives in order to gain a full understanding. This can bring epiphanies and show you a different road to travel that may be unexpected but will give you the opportunity to truly be yourself despite what others might think. Think permission being given to march to your own drum and not the group’s.
Together they tell me that I am happiest when creating new ideas and nurturing them into reality. I also need to be mindful of differing perspectives and remember to integrate them into my brilliant epiphanies.
So, how does this get to some of the essential of my life?
I LOVE new – new ideas, new places, new things. I can see or hear something and my mind starts churning with how to use it, how to incorporate into something. It’s how my creative spark gets flowing. I never copy anything exactly as I’ve seen it. Instead, I allow it to flow in my mind and what comes out is amazing. I can take ideas from books and thought leaders and integrate them into a whole that is magical. Sometimes it’s just a missing piece and Voila! Eureka! Aha!
Looking at my two cards in more detail, The Empress is perfect - I have always been fairly independent, have had a few small businesses going back to my consulting days in the 90’s in a previous life and have always loved that freedom to choose my path, even if I had no idea where it will lead. I have no shortage of ideas – I’m one of the best people to brainstorm with and then I am happy to let you go off on your merry way having helped birth another new project.
I’m not extravagant but I love little luxuries and am not afraid to have them and use them. I mean, why not drink wine from beautiful glasses? I love the feel of velvet and am very tactile – winter in the northeast means I can wear velour and feel snuggled and warm. My vacations always include time outdoors where I can smell the fresh air, listen to the sounds of nature and feel a closeness to our Great Creator.
My life pretty much moves outdoors in the warm weather – if you’ve been to our house you know we dine outside as much as we possibly can. I have gardens all over my small property – the scents fill my soul and again, a little luxury. At the end of April, every year, my monstrous wisteria blossoms and fills my back deck with the most intoxicating scent. I spend hours sitting under it for the few short weeks it blooms in my hanging hammock chair. That’s a blend of luxury and nature!
I finally am confident in my quirks and uniqueness. I like what I like and have moved along my journey in ways that have allowed me to explore, learn (always learning), seeing patterns and merging different perspectives and thoughts into a more cohesive whole. I can connect the dots between different things and because of that, a wisdom comes through divine provenance that brings food for thought and maybe even a little challenge to the status quo.
