For as long as I can remember, I have loved spring. I’ve been fascinated at how the natural world comes to life each year, despite the harshness of the preceding winter. Nature tells us she was never dead, just resting, regrouping, and nourishing herself so she can display her beauty in the warmth. I love this thinking.
I no longer hate winters, despite the cold and snow. I’m at a place in my life that I don’t need to go out into it and can plan ahead so I can stay warm inside, in front of the fireplace, in socks and covered with a quilt I made. Then, as February nears the end and March arrives, I get antsy and ready to go outside and look for signs of the annual rebirth.
This rebirth tells me that hope is never lost. It reminds me to retain an open mindset and to seek possibilities. It encourages me to go within and reconfirm the values I hold dear and recommit to living them openly.
A few years ago, I discovered Human Design and I knew, in a instant, that this was the missing piece for me. The more I studied it, the clearer it became that I was here to help others learn this amazing way of looking at themselves. I say often that we are all born perfectly designed. That is true.
Then, life happens. That’s not bad or good. It just is. With life we gain knowledge and experience. Some of those experiences and the people we connect with support our growth and being. Stop for a moment and reflect on who those are for you. How does it feel to recall them? I always smile and gives thanks for them bring in my life, for however long they were in my life.
Then there are those people and experiences that beat us down, make us shrink into a small being, hiding, hurting. Life is a series of challenges and struggles, some too horrible we cannot bear them. Yet, we come out the other side. Battered perhaps. But how else? The emotional pain and hurt may never leave us, but we can move on, in our time. We can find an internal strength we didn’t know was there, and perhaps find a blessing for surviving.
That is nature’s cycle and that is ours. The winter of our lives, metaphorically speaking, can be long and harsh. But every winter leads into spring where there is a rebirth. And then a full blossoming of summer. The changes of autumn. And the cycle continues, over and over.
This month, I encourage you to look inside and see what wants to rebirthed. Then, nurture it with wonder and curiosity, feeling the pain and letting it go, giving rise to a newer version of yourself. Perhaps learning more about your Design, the blueprint you were born with, will help you come to terms with these areas you feel are weaknesses or flaws, or help you sort through the stories that limit your power to be the most authentic version of your wonderful self. When you are ready, schedule your Human Design reading with me to support your rebirth to the person you were born to be.
Your best option is the Deep Dive called Align to Your Human Design which will give you a fuller understanding of your personal energetic blueprint. Sessions are being booked for spring.
