Limitlessness versus Constraint.
As I listened to a recent weekly energy transit report, the BIG theme of the week was this question to ponder:
In the spectrum from limitlessness to constraint, where am I? Where do I want to be? Where is the collective?
Which led to the second big question of the week:
Can I love and accept others who are not in the same mindset as me?
Limitlessness requires opening up to your fears. Being willing to explore the unknown. Recognizing that you are constrained only by your limiting beliefs that same from conditioning and those can be released. It’s a mindset that believes “I can” with an orientation to act. It believes “the sky’s the limit” and you’re only constrained by your imagination.
Constraint is the opposite. It is holding back. It’s fear based that is so deep you may not even be able to recognize it. It’s feeling safety in the comfort of what is known. It may be an unwillingness to entertain anything outside of your comfort sphere. It’s being small. It’s meant to feel safe.
It’s the battle between two Human Design gates – 41 of Imagination and 60 of Conservatism. It’s the orientation toward change. Gate 41 imagines what could be and then moves toward it. Gate 60, in its low expression, resists change. It’s the idealization of the past, living in nostalgia. Yet, in the high expression it’s “not throwing the baby out with the bath water” meaning it looks at what needs to go within the comfort of what exists.
Collectively, we’ve not got this down yet. Evolution and change are inevitable. Things do not stay the same and globally, we are witnessing a time of major upheaval, challenging what has been, systems breaking apart, and a polarizing binary debate over which is better.
Progressives and liberals have touted themselves as the change agents. Yet, today, it’s the conservative wing that is breaking things apart and leading the intense change. It feels like an oxymoron.
These last few years have been distressing to so many as we see this upheaval play out in major ways. There’s a “digging in of one’s heels” and loud vocal nastiness with name calling, deliberate misinformation and an unwillingness to listen, on all sides.
Which leads to the second big question about love and acceptance. Human Design tells us that we are wired to love ourselves and others, and to care for the collective, the future survival. This, however, is the higher expression of our design and energy. Gate 10 is about loving the self, Gate 15 of loving humanity, and Gate 37 of harmony and peace. Our circuitry focuses on the individual, the tribe and collective – in harmony. It feels like we’ve forgotten that.
What we’re experiencing is the proliferation of the low end energy – selfish, self-centered, me first. We hear how the opposite of love is hate yet, to me, it is indifference to the other.
Acceptance versus Indifference.
Indifference simply doesn’t care. It doesn’t take perspective, consideration of another view or life circumstance. Indifference judges from a narrow point of view – and that’s the only one that counts. It blames others for what they don’t have. And it doesn’t care of the other is hurt, defamed, injured, deported, killed because they don’t matter. That’s indifference.
Loving others and accepting them for who they are is a higher energy construct. It is hard, especially when the disagreements are vast and emotionally charged. Yet, that is exactly what is needed in this chaotic, disruptive time. Those of us on the Limitlessness/Love/Acceptance spectrum have a lot of internal work to do.
This is exactly the right time to go inward and really assess what you value, believe.
It’s exactly the right time to own who you are.
It’s exactly the right time to discover your own wounds and seek to heal them.
It’s exactly the right time to find Spirit inside you, to build your spirituality and faith in the Unknown, the Universe and by doing so, do your part in raising the vibration of this planet.
It’s exactly the right time to entertain courageous conversations that seek to understand, to learn, and to evolve.
It’s exactly the right time to find and keep your self-love strong, your self-acceptance strong, the appreciation and expressing of your uniqueness strong.
It’s exactly the right time to appreciate limitlessness and constraint and to know the former will prevail if each of us be the drop in the pond that spreads the ripple effect to foster the mindset and the vibrational shift needed to evolve in the limitless possibility of humanity.
